An Introduction to Visible Storage Area II at the Division Museum of Ceramics and Glassware

The Division Museum of Ceramics and Glassware invites the public to participate in a virtual tour of the permanent collection. The tour is comprised of an essay by Founder/Director Barbara Choit discussing the construction of Visible Storage Area II, the first architectural expansion to the museum --a milestone in its history. Featured in the journey through the collection are artifacts donated by notable Friends and Founders of the Division Museum of Ceramics and Glassware: Karl H. Erickson, Gretchen M. Larsen, Isabell Spengler, Mr. and Mrs. Daniel I. Berens, and Leslie Grant.

Afterall Online is a subsidiary of Afterall publishing, which also produces Afterall Journal and Afterall Books. Their online division features commissioned material designed to be both more timely and more idiosyncratic than the journal. Regularly updated content includes reviews, interviews with artists, occasional longer essays on theoretical and philosophical topics, and artist's projects.
